COVID-19 has hit us all hard in more ways than one. It has not been easy for many. More so, it has been disheartening to see what has been happening all around us, the racism, the injustice, and the inequality. We cannot let this continue. We cannot stay silent, otherwise, all of humanity will suffer.
As we watch the protests amid all this uncertainty, we want to share with you a message on solidarity. Whatever differences we have, be it nationality, culture, race, ethnicity, economic situation, ideology, and faith...We are all ONE human family. Do not forget that.
Love your neighbour as yourself. No one should think of themselves as more superior than the other. We must learn to forgive, and heal. We must teach the next generation this, and the next, and the next, until all forms of racism and discrimination is eradicated.
At the core of the virtue of solidarity is the pursuit of justice and peace. Our love for one another, our brothers and sisters, demands that we promote peace in a world surrounded by violence and conflict. It is up to each and every one of us to look deep inside oneself, deep into our own souls, and see if we also need to change.
